President Erdoğan once again wins the challenge to single thinking on a democratic level. Turkey proves to be NATO’s reliable democratic partner, which, in defiance of the rest of Western propaganda, proposes itself as an authoritative interlocutor to Russia. It means the sense of diplomatic attitude contrasts with the vulgarity of ideologies. The Turkish people prove to be mature in understanding the reality of their role in the geopolitical game in progress.
Yes, because today’s vote is a manifestation of the awareness of the historical significance of the existence of a leading Islamic Turkey and not a vassal of a simple military alliance. It is an excellent lesson for those relying on Washington’s statements to determine their foreign policy and Brussels’ ambitions to consolidate their expansionist policy. A matter of attributes, and these attributes derive from history and the pride of representing a story that comes from afar. It’s called awareness of Tradition. But how to tell about this to Western partners imbued with economic and military successes?
Think. Erdoğan won amid an economic recession and with a double-digit devaluation of his currency that is difficult to quantify, as it is linked to the daily estimate. What does that mean? That the surveys of the super-qualified analysts are not reliable. It is not the economy that founds the unity of a people, but the perception of one’s cultural identity that defies the centuries and does not depend on the determination of the Treaties, which instead forge the borders of the States and the destiny of the peoples.
The Ottoman dream is naturally an ideal prospection of the writer and does not correspond in the least to reality on the ground. But that is precisely the problem. The term “Ottoman”, referring to Erdoğan’s Turkey’s foreign policy, was not evoked by myself, but by all President’s detractors, allies or not, who wanted to weaken his foresight. Today the real losers are not the voters of opposition to Erdoğan because they legitimately exercised the right to vote constitutionally attributed to them, but all the falsely titled propagandists, such as those analysts who wanted to give the Head of State the title of Caliph, as a derogatory attribute.
So, following the logic of super-titled analysts, today, we must recognise that the Caliph has triumphed on a democratic level. This a harsh setback for the ideological West, which today has only one task to fulfil: to salute its advisors for not understanding the foundations of consensus.
