Of course, the Western world stalls, crediting the stance already adopted by ISIS. Silence on the part of human rights organisations.
Ḥaftar is a US citizen, as it’s known. It’s not a matter of citizenship. We want to disprove any factious allegations. The fact is defiances always come from those who deal with the “absolute evil”. No, we are not talking about the Nazis. We are talking about those who for 75 years has been poisoning the world with theories of presumed superiority (I hope not a genetic one), culminating today with the slogan “America first”, which ominously pairs with “Deutschland über alles”. With the endorsement, of course, of human rights defenders and various fiddle-faddle.
Everyone defends his interests to make the “fiesta” its nuclear weapons allow, of course to the detriment of those who have the status of losers after 75 years, yet, except those who, in a perfect enlightenment style, took note of it, placing themselves under the winner banner. It is still understandable if this attitude has brought the benefits of the US dollar to state budgets, to the point that the aforementioned beneficiaries pretend they too are the masters of the world. In a recent interview with the Bloomberg news agency, Chuck Wald, a retired 4-star General of the Air Force, ensures that about 50 US nuclear warheads currently housed in the Turkish airbase in Incirlik should urgently relocate to Aviano, Italy. Enough to observe the worried and passive attitude of the Italian government towards the news to realise the “fiesta” has a price. Your independence. After 75 years!
Well. Let’s go back to the self-proclaimed Caliph Ḥaftar and his massacres of civilians in Tripoli. Even the facts are not so hard from a geopolitical point of view. The United States, governed by Democrats or Republicans, has accustomed us to this. From Iraq to Afghanistan and so on. All in the name of human rights (ridiculous, in this regard, the successes claimed on gender condition!), but above all in the name of countering Caliphate. Never again a Caliph, it thundered as a warning to Erdoğan and his alleged expansionist aims. But the American plutocratic leadership (a supposed élite based on wealth, never on wisdom!) has not noticed (much less have all the billionaire media, beneficiaries of that wealth) the proclamation of jihād by American Ḥaftar means the proclamation of a Caliphate. Of course, what the war correspondents of the said billionaire media can know. They only aim to the power of the weapons of peace, causing thousands of civilian victims, and who has the deadliest firepower.
The explanation is clear. To understand it, you have to be an elite. To know what jihād is and distinguish it from ḥarb, the war. Jihād is a sacred and inescapable duty only the legitimate Caliphal authority can proclaim, the Amīr al-mu’minīn, Commander of the Faithful, who by definition holds the power to issue an order (amr) he can see surely executed. To say that Western materialistic foolishness could never assimilate this topic.
From an Islamic point of view, Ḥaftar’s attitude is a usurpation of power subjected to due criminal sanctions, according to Shari’a. I wonder what Shaykh Aḥmad Muḥammad Aḥmad aṭ-Ṭayyib, Grand Imām of Al-Azhar, thinks about it. Ah, yes, I forgot. Perhaps, we should turn to Egyptian President ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ as-Sīsī, who controls him through specific secular prerogatives.
From a “Western” point of view, however, an indictment must be raised. Against whom? Against Ḥaftar? After all, he is an American citizen, therefore free of possible charges. Otherwise, we would have to condemn those responsible for international crimes as the extraordinary renditions, Guantánamo, Cermis, and so on until the Calipari affaire. By the way, just let’s remember the U.S. did not recognise the International Criminal Court. And so …
No, the charges do not affect the U.S. this time. Its servants are under accusation, who, out of cowardice and to safeguard the “fiesta”, prostrate at its feet with no master’s request. And the charges relate to the organisations of the so-called “civil society” (partly a beneficiary of the same “fiesta”), which boast good intentions on human rights, scramble to condemn the undemocratic States at their unquestionable judgment, at every opportunity recall the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but, when needed, appear shy, indecisive, confused, require further reflection, issue appeals to human brotherhood, fail to extricate themselves from the ambiguous political stances taken at the Soviet Union time.
No, dear friends. The “fiesta” is over. The privileges of positions taken 75 years ago with the various invented “resistances” no longer hold up. The responsibility lies in the hands of the current rulers, clearly inadequate and confused after the Cold War conveniences offered only to a minor part of the world. Responsibility invests, as always in history, those parasitic elites who gained privileges, and, accordingly, lose their nature, turning into economic elites motivated by mere personal interest.
2020 is the year in which the world enters, in fact, the 21st century. The balances of 1945 have changed and the threads knot again, defying vis-a-vis even the unfair order of the WWI aftermath. The U.S. has made an isolationist and protectionist choice, without caring of free-market supporters (poor Adam Smith!); and new emerging states are pressing to find their own space, facing Americans on a technological level by the “western” free-market tools. With this scenario, you cannot think of win again privileges of positions. It’s time for choices.
Western governments have not realised the challenge of the fake Caliph Khalīfa Belqāsim Ḥaftar (who fell in love with his first name) because it has not addressed to them. It has aimed at the Islamic world through emotional seduction weapons. The reply could only come from the Umma historical awareness. Turkey, home of the last legitimate Caliphate and a NATO member, will interpret it. But does NATO still exist?
